Bench (Employee on Bench)

Bench describes the transitory state of an employee who is not assigned to any live project or billable work but is ready for deployment, reassignment, training,internal organisational activities and etc.

Bench Status May Include:

• Temporary non-project allocation
• Availability for future assignments
• Participation in training or skill development activities
• Support for internal organisational tasks
• Awaiting project deployment or client allocation

The employee continues to remain under organisational employment and management during the bench period in accordance with applicable company policies.
